ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A SLEEPING BLUE MOON OVER BOSTON
ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A SLEEPING BLUE MOON OVER BOSTON
In August 2023, people worldwide had the rare opportunity to witness a full Blue Moon, an event that occurs when there is a 13th full moon in a calendar year (in contrast to the misconception that it refers to the second full moon in a single month).
I encountered cloudy weather on the day of the event. Still, I positioned myself on the Charles River, Cambridge side near the Massachusetts bridge, facing downtown Boston. Equipped with my Canon R5 and two zoom lenses—an F4 70-200mm Canon lens and an F/4.5-6.3 100-400mm Tamron lens—I aimed to capture the moment. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed capturing and processing them in DarkTable.
